The Commercial Product Dispensing Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking pre-packaged pharmaceutical products, printing, and attaching prescription labels, and working closely with the Staff Pharmacists to ensure compliance with pharmacy SOP and 100% accuracy. You will also assist in the receiving process for Blue Rabbit to help ensure we keep stock on hand.
When will you work?
- The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
What you’ll do:
- Accurately and efficiently pick/pack products according to established standards
- Operate multiple software packages which require data entry and/or use of scanning devices.
- Pack orders to the customer’s requirement and/or from the provided specifications.
- Meet established productivity standards and quality standards.
- Packages and ships products via U.P.S. or USPS, or designated courier when necessary.
- Accurately produces shipping documents including packing slip, correct product, quantity, prescription label and outer shipping box.
- Self-identifies mistakes, potential problems and recommends solutions.
- Provide candid and timely feedback to all levels in the organization, involve others in problem-solving when needed, and see all responsibilities through to a successful completion.
- Ability to cross training basic warehouse functions such as receiving, put away, cycle count and bin transfers.
- Ability to multi-task and remain motivated while working independently.
- Flexibility with schedule to support the needs of the business.
Who you are:
- Basic understanding of shipping and warehouse procedures.
- PC experience
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Occasional lifting, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and light physical effort (usually lifting/moving up to 50 pounds).
- Use basic warehouse equipment (pallet jack, box cutter, tape gun) is also required, depending on the specific tasks assigned.
What you’ve done:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NJ Pharmacy Technician license Required
