This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Public Policy team is responsible for developing public policy positions on issues important to the company. The Public Policy team consists of internal and external thought leaders on issues related to technology media and telecom (TMT) and serves as internal consultants to the government affairs teams.
Role Description
The Comcast Internship Program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and provide mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real-life projects and functions.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interns will research and write on a variety of policy and regulatory issues related to technology, media, and telecom (TMT).
- Candidates can expect to conduct legal research, prepare briefing memos, talking points, comment summaries, and other written material, and may have opportunities to attend meetings and other events outside of the office.
- Interns will work with management to determine the impact of federal regulatory actions on the organization.
- Develop presentations and other written materials on findings.
- Act as an internal consultant to the government affairs teams.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Applicants should be highly motivated self-starters, well-organized, and detail-orientated
- Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines
- Ability to make decisions relying upon sound judgment.
- Strong research and writing skills required.
- Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in technology, media and telecom (TMT) law and policy.
- Preferred Majors: Political Science
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled as a 2L, 3L, or 4L student pursuing a J.D. from a US-based college or university
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:
Base Pay: $45.00
