About this role:
This position will plan and execute civic engagement activations including in-district events (i.e. roundtables, branch visits, etc.) and virtual townhalls with federal and state elected officials, as well as assisting regional Public Affairs leaders with events to bring the full force of Wells Fargo to the community. Additionally, this individual will ensure the Wells Fargo enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” plan is executed on a yearly basis. This position will sit in 1700 K Street, NW in Washington, DC and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Government Relations Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Work across Government Relations & Public Policy to develop an elected official engagement strategy that includes events such as virtual townhalls, executive roundtables, small business roundtables, and branch visits
Responsible for managing events like the ones listed above; this includes developing a calendar and timelines, coordinating schedules, creating invitations, tracking RSVPs, developing briefing materials, sending thank you notes, providing regular updates to the GRPP leadership team, and managing risk
Serve on the Public Affairs Strategic Engagement Council which brings the full force of Wells Fargo to the communities in which we live and work
Serve as a liaison to some of the Public Affairs regional teams; to include assistance with annual planning, local activations, scheduling regular meetings, developing agendas, servings as the minute-taker
Execute against the enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” program, which includes content development, managing against a time sensitive email calendar, organizing voter registrations drives, as well as other tasks as needed
Develop a pilot Washington DC fly-in program
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Government Relations, Public Affairs or Legal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience executing organizational change initiatives and concurrent work streams
Experience executing planning initiatives for large and/or complex events
Experience working with Local and Federal Government officials
Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$106,300.00 - $188,900.00Benefits
