Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Finance team as our Chief Accountant at Hyatt Regency Boston, located in the heart of Downtown Boston! The Chief Accountant will be responsible for the oversight of all accounting processes at the hotel. Responsibilities include posting monthly transactions, preparing monthly invoices and statements, posting cash receipts and wire transfers, reconciling A/R trial balance to General Ledger as needed, communicating with customers regarding collection issues and assisting with various special projects as assigned. They will also be responsible for the hotel's cash bank and will report to the Associate Director of Finance and the Director of Finance.

The salary range for this position is $66,100 - $80,900. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience. This position has the option for work from home availability. The expectation is that the person will be in the office 4 days a week/ 1 day remote.

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and financial accounting system use (Opera Preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
  • Ideal candidate will be a self starter with excellent integrity
