Salary Range: 110k – 120k
Tidal Wave is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a passion and interest in Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Reports, Data-modeling, Data Warehouses, ETL Processes and Data-Integration to help establish an advanced reporting and analytics capability. The right individual will be involved in all parts of the BI process, from data acquisition to final presentation. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Apply business intelligence expertise, business knowledge and technical skills to successfully deliver BI solutions that help answer business questions
- Guide beginning-to-end BI projects including analysis, design, development, and support
- Develop in depth knowledge of data sources and models in order to design, development, implement, and support ETL, API, and other integration processes
- Demonstrate the passion and desire to build a capability from the ground up
- Engage and guide business users to identify and define data and reporting requirements
- Translate understanding of business requirements into technical requirements and a solutions
- Manage third party vendors
- Be accountable for system and process improvements

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field required; Master degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence/Reporting Analyst role
- 3+ years of knowledge and experience using database systems and SQL
- 3+ years of experience using data warehouses and BI solutions
- Ability to manage data from multiple sources
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Advanced/Expert level in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with Integration services or ETL tools
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis is a plus
- Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience working with management and business stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to mentor other technical professionals
