Position Summary
Business Analyst, Enterprise Projects will gather and analyze requirements for IT process improvements, governance frameworks, security, compliance, and infrastructure-related projects. The incumbent will support enterprise-level initiatives by providing insights and detailed documentation to ensure project alignment with broader business goals and operational needs.
Collaborating with stakeholders, they will ensure business requirements align with IT governance and infrastructure best practices. By leveraging project analyst skills, the incumbent will contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects that drive process improvements, maintain compliance, and support organizational objectives.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams to gather and analyze requirements for IT process improvements and enterprise projects.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Business Analyst processes (both waterfall and agile), including documentation, current/future state analysis, and developing expertise in product and business functions.
- Capture and document governance and compliance-related requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications by engaging key stakeholders to solidify overall requirements.
- Support the planning and execution of projects by assisting in the management of relevant artifacts or backlogs for both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements, identify problems, and provide recommendations for practical solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and project team members during design, build, and validation sessions to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Analyze complex problems where evaluating numerous factors is necessary, ensuring that insights contribute to informed decision-making and project success. Coordinates with internal IT teams and external technology teams to ensure functional requirements are reflected in the final solution.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project resources, IT leadership, and vendors.
- Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years [nine (9) for non-degreed candidates] of business analyst experience with the responsibility for capturing functional and technical requirements, partnering with business stakeholders, and supporting IT and Enterprise projects with a key emphasis on governance, security, and infrastructure.
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in a Project Management role
Required Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite – Project, Excel, etc.
- Experience with IT Governance, Security, Infrastructure & Compliance.
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be detailed oriented and have the proven ability to prioritize work
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team
- Must have sound decision-making abilities
Professional Certification:
- CSPO, CAP, CSBA, PMI-PBA or other business analyst certifications a plus
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, and movements require the use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to view a computer screen for extended periods and sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working conditions include normal office and warehouse settings. After-hours support and weekend support as needed are requirements of the position
