This position will support our Parkline facility in Hitchcock, TX. As a part of nVent, Parkline is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.
This role is responsible for the assembly of Parkline buildings to be shipped to various customer sites.
MUST HAVE:
•Ability to provide assistance to journeyman in the process of assembly of buildings and in the installation of various components of buildings- including but not limited to HVAC units, windows and doors
•Cut material using various tools and equipment, handling and installation of insulation
•Assist journeyman with handling and installation of panels, layout of cutouts.
• Knowlege of and ability to use multiple construction power tools and hand tools.
• Conduct housekeeping as necessary
• Team player, ability to work by yourself and with others
• Able to multitask and adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges with projects.
• Take initiative; be a self-starter
• Must be available to work 2nd Shift
