Full Job Description
Our client, a creative agency in Boulder, is seeking a Mid-Senior- level Brand Strategist to join their team, freelance with the opportunity to go full-time after three months.
The role is hybrid, onsite for 2-3 days/ week in Boulder, CO and a computer will be provided. The agency has a fun, creative office and works on various CPG brands, small and large.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage approximately three projects (new + existing CPG brands) over 4-6 weeks at time.
- leading brand discovery, brand positioning work, articulating ideal consumer brand personality, light research, analyisis, conducing audits, etc.
- collaborate internally with account team, creative team, and other strategists
- analyze market trends, industry trends / dynamics, competitor analysis, etc.
- lead workshops and 1:1 interviews with clients to understand insights, align internal teams, and generate buy-in around strategic initiatives.
- create + present strategy decks to clients
TOP 3 QUALIFICATIONS:
1. strong grasp of foundational facilitation constructs (experience leading discovery work shops, resolving conflicts, etc.)
2. strong understanding of the components of brand strategy
3. experience presenting to internal team members + clients
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in brand strategy within an agency setting
- understand brand strategy best practices + experience developing comprehensive brand strategies
- experience working with syndicated data
- experience with Google Slides or Keynote, Miro, Mural, Butter, or similar
- experience working with CPG clients is ideal
