Reporting to a Category Leadership Manager with our Walmart team, you will help lead category growth platform development for the microwave popcorn business, including iconic brands such as Orville Redenbacher and Act II, by delivering category programs and plans and supporting the deployment of materials to the customer. You will work with internal partners and retailer contacts to develop and help implement category growth plans and develop proposals for distribution and shelving changes to the account.
Your Impact:
- Assist the customer to deliver category analysis and possible business impacts, identifying opportunities to enhance customer, category, and Conagra's goals
- Customize existing category plans to lead company and category sales at the customer
- Deliver category insights to develop collaborative business solutions, striving toward or confirming the position of lead vendor within the category review process
- Work with internal partners and customer contacts to develop and help implement category growth plans
- Provide line review prep for the merchant including recommendations on assortment, clustering, spacing, and flow
- Draw planograms for your desk and across priority categories
- Ensure category programs and plans are delivered and provide post analysis on their performance
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1+ years of CPG related experience in sales/category analytical roles
- Data integration and interpretation experience
- Experience building a holistic sales story from multiple sources of data (syndicated, loyalty, consumer and industry trends)
- Understand the fundamentals of syndicated panel data
- Experience working directly with customers in growing category sales
- Experience working with IRI/Circana or Nielsen; space management tools
- Customer loyalty card knowledge
- Experience in Excel for spreadsheet development and automation; v lookup, pivot tables, and compounded sum-if statements
- Working knowledge of retail merchandising and in-store execution tactics
