Associate Director, Engagement Lead for HyperAutomation

We are searching for a driven and enthusiastic individual who is highly motivated to forge deep relationships and collaborate with our business and IT stakeholders. As an Associate Director Engagement Lead, you will play a crucial role within the HyperAutomation & AI (HAI) Organization.

Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining effective relationships with divisional IT and business leaders, bringing valuable thought leadership into these engagements, and creating a body of work that will drive the transformation of business divisions, ultimately delivering tangible value to the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Engagement Leadership

The role will be accountable for the establishment and maintenance of deep, effective and sustainable relationships with a specific Division's IT and Business partners. The person in this role must become a trusted and sought-after strategic partner for divisional IT and the business areas and regularly be invited to attend vision setting and strategy sessions with those leadership teams.

This role is directly accountable for the volume and quality of the AI & Automation opportunities sourced from their assigned division. They will drive the demand from the divisional business areas up the value chain (from practical work to transformational work) and are responsible for activating aspirational engagements where AI & Automation are the catalysts for ideation.

The engagement lead is also responsible for collaborating with our Portfolio Director to ensure that proper methods are applied in the assessment of identified opportunities.

  • Business Analysis

This role will collaborate with the business analyst team. They are responsible for overseeing the appropriate application of both proven and state of the art methods and tools in both the assessment of business needs and opportunities and in the mapping, mining and re-engineering of business processes.

  • Delivery

This role is ultimately accountable for the aggregate delivery of automation and AI outcomes required by their assigned division, and for ensuring client delight and high promoter scores. They will oversee project and program managers in ensuring progress on all projects and provide project transparency to all stakeholders in their assigned division.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • The candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a technology role supporting business partners within the pharmaceutical OR within a Life Sciences industry.

  • 1 year recent track of record of delivering effective Intelligent Automation and AI solutions that have transformed business areas or business models.

  • 2 year recent track of record of delivering RPA-based Automations to a Fortune 100 Enterprise.

  • 5 years exposure to the methods and tools of process engineering (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc)

  • 5 years exposure to the methods and tools of business analysis

  • 1 years of contributing to division strategy

  • Extensive exposure to agile & product management methodologies

  • Enthusiasm and passion for Automation and AI technologies, and being able to convey this enthusiasm to our stakeholders

  • Expert level relationship building & interpersonal skills

  • Advanced level abilities in educating business leaders on the complete hyperautomation solutions space, explaining complex technology in layperson's terms, being able to provide a compelling vision of hyperautomation solutions, and clearly explain execution plans

  • Strong facilitation skills in designing & leading and workshops and brainstorming sessions that leverage AI & automation as catalysts for ideation with senior business and IT leaders

  • Expert in critical thinking and elegantly challenging the status quo

  • Capable problem solver able to map business needs into relevant, comprehensive solutions

  • Effective communicator able to extract complex knowledge, gain alignment, ensure clarity, and simply explain complex situations and solutionsProficient in leading cost, benefit and risk analysis related to AI & Automation solutionsCompetent effective decision-making frameworks to a complex landscape of opportunities and problems

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting Corporate Functions as an IT partner within a global business.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected US salary range:

$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
