Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an Associate Business Process Analyst for a fast-paced, growing and dynamic position to support our Immersive Mission Solutions (IMS) Operating Unit (OU). Northrop Grumman is an industry leader in developing, integrating, and sustaining complex systems for the US Department of Defense.
This person will be supporting the US Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Business Operating System (PPB BOS) program in Fairfax, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyzes, tests, and modifies business processes and requirements
• Develops requirements, workflow, and systems analysis
• Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities
• Establishes standards for development and maintenance of new and existing products
• Documents system requirement changes, as well as application documentation
• Communicates updates to multi-discipline teams
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders to determine their needs and to determine impact.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and researching application changes.
• Knowledge and understanding of how requirements and process are derived and described.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Knowledge of DoD financial processes.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of network protocols.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics software such as Tableau, Qlik, Oracle OBIEE, etc.
• Active DoD Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
Salary Range: $65,600 - $98,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
