Assistant Vice President of CLS

*internal candidates only*

The Assistant Vice President for Clinical Services has primary responsibility for clinical leadership within the CLS division through orientation, training, consultation, quality management and program development. They will establish and implement practice standards that are consistent with the recovery and rehabilitation model and by maintaining focus on the provision of high quality, progressive services that are responsive to the needs of the community. They will participate as a member of Riverside’s Senior Management Team and assists the Vice President for Community Living Services in all aspects of division operations and provides coverage in his/her absence. The Assistant Vice President for Clinical Services represents the organization’s and division’s mission, services and programs in forums internal and external to the agency, to best meet individual, program, and division and agency goals.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

  • Monday through Friday, plus participation in an On-Call Schedule

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated high-level skills in clinical assessment and treatment of individuals with mental illness including proficiency in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services required.
  • Demonstrated skills in training and leadership of program staff required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and the ability to make effective public presentations.

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree required; independent licensure in related discipline preferred.
  • Seven years related experience including at least five years in a supervisory and management capacity required.
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.
