The main responsibility of this Area Supervisor role is to manage new hire onboarding and training in the Phos Acid department.

Besides training and onboarding, this role will support other area supervisors in the safe and environmentally sound operations of the facility. The person in this position will help manage and execute the daily operations schedule, appropriately delegating tasks to assigned team and holding accountable to achieve short-term, defined key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate daily operational plan to the production supervisor, incorporating routine messages at the appropriate level. Manage and comply with established EHS MS programs, business unit initiatives, and other department administrative requirements. Possess department-specific understanding of process and equipment, articulate how a process works, and be able to teach and coach assigned team. Oversee department’s employee training program, ensuring adherence to currency requirements as identified in policies.

What do you need for this role?

High School/GED is required. Bachelor's is preferred
Phos Acid department experience
Microsoft Office Suite 1>2 Years
Industrial Environment 1>2 Years is preferred
Objective Interface Systems (OIS) 1>2 Years
SAP experience.
Kronos 1>2 Years
