About Honeywell's Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) Organization

The CNS organization designs, builds, and maintains some of the worlds most valued safety systems within the Aerospace industry. The product line spans from Radar, Ground Proximity Warning Systems, Instrumented Landing Systems, Communication, Datalink and Navigation Radios, RF, Transponders, Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems and Radar Altimeters.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

As the Center of Excellence (COE) within CNS (Communication,Navigation,Surveillance), we are responsible for the innovation, development, certification and design ofelectronicAerospace products related tocommunication, radionavigationand safeaircraftoperation.

The NavigationalRadios-RadarAltimeters is an engineering group within the CNS organization with products spread across commercial, defense and space domains. While part of a large company and diverse organization, the NavRadio-RadarAltimeter group operates very much like a small business in many ways.

As an Advanced Project Engineeryou will be part of a team where our key contributors wear multiple "hats" dependent upon the program scope and timeline. Our team is fully integrated in every aspect of a product's life cycle - from working with a customer on a concept and subsequent proposal, through development, verification, production, and even obsolescence refreshes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer (PE), our expectation on medium to smaller programs is for the PE to operate as both PE and SE (System Engineer) - managing the cost/schedule of the program along with driving technical discussions and stepping in and executing work where needed - such as drafting technical presentations or data items and maybe even running a test or two in the lab as required. On largerprograms, the PE side can be up to a full-time responsibility, managing allprogramareas technical and programmatic.

You will impact existing product programs, as well as Development Programs supporting CNS products in their full development lifecycle from initial development, through production, post production and customer support.

• Using your project leadership skills and technical engineering aptitude, you will be instrumental in guiding and managing advanced engineering projects for our Avionics product portfolio
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and program management
• Participate in proposals andcost estimation, schedule preparation and resource forecasting
• Provideproject oversightof day to day activities to achieve on time and onbudget execution
• Oversight ofrisk management processand baseline change processes
• Drive the EVM (Earned Value Management) process and effective management operating process (MOS).
• "Jump in" and support technical team as needed with small/medium programs

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, and/or Team Leadership

• Familiarity with ElectronicsandRFdisciplines is of value.
• Experience in Avionics, Aerospace, Electronics, Automotive, or related industries
• Familiarity with systems development lifecycle with ability to support product development programs
