What you'll do:

  • Perform clerical accounting procedures requiring basic to intermediate experience with accounting practices under US GAAP while adhering to SOX internal controls.
  • Act as a backup on accounts payable and billing processes.
  • Assist Plant Controller with monthly accounting close tasks such as generating system reports and completing reconciliations.
  • Act as a backup on inputting production and usage into ERP system from inventory control system.
  • Assist Controller with inventory cycle counts and resolving count variances.
  • Assist Operations in daily inventory control processes.
  • Tracking operational data for continuous improvement.
  • Interact with various departments to gather accounting data and assist in problem resolution.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, filing, scanning documents, copying and processing paperwork.

We need you to have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business or related field of study or equivalent experience in an accounting role.
  • 1 to 2 years accounting experience or related field preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management skills
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to accommodate work fluctuations and deadlines.
  • Experience using integrated ERP software such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, OnBase
  • Experience using MS Office.
