Summary

Leads highly complex or enterprise critical projects that require a diverse array of programming expertise. Is responsible for leading application analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement. Daily responsibilities include leading multiple, concurrent projects and/or support efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Traveling 10% throughout the US to attend cross site meetings and workshops.
  • Drives communication with business customers and technical team.
  • Leads the implementation strategy discussion for testing to ensure functionality supports business processes.
  • Writes, clean, efficient and well-documented code which made include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations.
  • Mentors technical team to improve product's functionality including developing standards and best practices.
  • Accountable for conducting code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practice fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
  • Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices.
  • Authors knowledge sharing documents.
  • Leads application tasks specific to multiple medium to complex cross functional level projects.
  • Provides value added coding based on understanding business processes.
  • Leads application patches activities by mentoring team members to apply patches and/or collaborate with other IT teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.
  • Leads appropriate level of team interactions including delegation to teammates to drive issue resolution and facilitate effective collaboration and meetings.
  • Drives solutions to technical problems and effectively communicates the problems to vendors, customers and team members.

You Must Have

  • Five or more years of direct work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, certification or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and certification.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance.

  • Significant knowledge of HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, content management systems and user authentication systems.
  • Experience developing with a source control system such as Git.
  • Advanced analytical skills dealing with complex data problems and implementing realistic solutions.
  • Demonstrated development and debugging experience using Visual Studio/VS Code.
  • Experience managing applications in Windows Server/UNIX environments in AWS.
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management preferably with AWS Cloud Platform.
