As a Test Fixture Design & Build Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and solutions in the Smart Energy industry. You will be responsible for designing and building test fixtures for various testing purposes, including functional testing, environmental testing, and reliability testing. Your technical expertise in fixture design and build will be instrumental in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Raleigh, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cutting-edge technologies that optimize and protect critical resources for utilities.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements
  • Design and build test fixtures for functional testing, environmental testing, and reliability testing
  • Maintain and calibrate test fixtures, as well as resolving any issues that arise during testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test fixtures
  • Document test fixture designs and build processes

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in test fixture design and build
  • Strong knowledge of fixture design principles and best practices
  • Experience with CAD software for fixture design
  • Hands-on experience in building and assembling test fixtures
