The successful candidate must demonstrate strong partnership with Project Acquisition and Execution teams as well as technology and Manufacturing leadership to execute and manage the safe development and execution of the entire HPS portfolio of solution. The successful candidate will provide project engineering leadership and set the strategic vision building capability in new Verticals and growth segments. The role will provide leadership in deploying consistent practices engineering design standards and project engineering procedures in HPS at the organizational level.
The successful candidate will enhance and institutionalize an execution MOS and tool set while driving engineering efficiency & productivity improvements. In addition, the role will also lead project engineering efforts to drive various digitization, capability transformation and productivity/efficiency initiatives, as part of broader Project Solutions function within GPMO.
It is expected that the successful candidate will travel 25% of the time and will be responsible for technical leadership as well as team leadership of these activities
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years experience
in project engineering, engineering management, and/or R&D
Minimum 5 years of
supervisory experience leading professionals
WE VALUE:
Master's degree in
Engineering, related discipline and/or MBA preferred
Track record of
delivering on projects, utilizing people effectively and managing tightly
against performance commitments, project engineering, contractor
management, and operations experience
Deep understanding of project
management and controls
Direct the development
of engineering standards and oversee implementation as they pertain to
planning and execution of project globally
Responsibility for evaluating
project execution plans, contracting strategies and teams in the
organization
Ensure that a rigorous
scoping and execution development process is utilized and continuously
improved to for robust project execution
Identify MOS
improvements as prioritized by prior organization performance and external
benchmarks. Attack and resolve root causes of problems and inconsistencies
