Your Opportunity as the Associate Manager, Human Resources
Location: Longmont, CO

In this role you will:
- Leverage specialized knowledge about the unique plant's practices, business needs, people, and procedures to execute HR tasks.
- Leads site-specific and sensitive employee relations issues within the plant, leveraging Employee/Labor Relations for consultation.
- Support the management, implementation and communication of HR functional programs including employee relations management, leave programs, employee benefits, talent attraction, and engagement and retention efforts.
- Assist successful site operations by partnering with various leaders to provide HR Business Partner support for their organizations including ensuring consistent adherence to compliance requirements, progress on business objectives, site policies and practices, and process improvements.
- Reviews and interprets people and organizational information for the site and provides advice and support to plant leaders regarding challenges, opportunities, and development of the workforce.
- Leads, participates, and supports organizational structure, design, and continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the HR manager.
- May lead or participate in projects to support the Organizational Capability Pillar (OC) and (E&T) Education and Training Pillar under the Smucker Quality Management System (SQMS).
- Perform day-to-day HR activities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain all compliance requirements. Analyze and correct errors and ensure proper quality controls are in place to avoid future errors.
- Salary range $83.5K - $119.9K.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements: *
- A proven HR professional with a bachelor's degree in a related HR field.
- Three years of functional HR experience (HR processes, procedures, employee relations, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements, etc.).
- Experience working at a manufacturing site.
- Effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate to a range of constituents, and maintain a customer-service mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive matters, influence others and provide coaching and direction in support of actionable decision making in ambiguous and fluid situations.
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
- *Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft tools and applications, Workday preferred.
